Modricki lug is placed on a no man’s land. On an imaginary border between Republika Srpska and Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, people that live here are victims of political games during elections. But the village is organized very well. Local Ceribas organized small business for processing metals and iron from waste. They separate materials and often use non-ecological techniques, such as burning waste, so everything except metals is melted. The whole village is living very nicely because of that business. The owner pays regularly taxes and salaries to workers.
