During the last ten years, I have worked on many projects for UNICEF. It is a great honor but also a responsibility, as you are working with socially vulnerable groups. Throughout my work, I have had the great opportunity to meet all kinds of good people and children and to learn more about life beyond just performing my professional duties. Janko Hlpka is the last remaining hat maker in Bosnia’s capital. Originally Slovak, he inherited the family business in Sarajevo. Janko has many loyal customers, including singers, actors and other artists from across the Balkans. His hats are worn by popular public figures, such as Rade Šerbedžija, Božo Vrećo and Dino Merlin.
