Tinning is an old craft of processing and preparing tools and dishes of copper. In Kakanj town, Velija, nicknamed Delija, is one of the best craftsman with years of tradition . He does everything – from processing and manufacturing saces (metal pot for baking) and dzezvas (metal cup for coffe). Many people from Kakanj say that a big part of the finished products from Velija, can be found at Bascarsija (Sarajevo old town, where you can buy these souvenirs) where they are sold as authentic. Actually, these things are authentic, but manufactured a few dozen kilometers away, and not in the store where you are buying. When you ask Velija this question he is just smiling and say that he cooperates with all big shopping malls and great manufacturers of similar items.
